The cylinder contains one cubic meter at 6 bar pressure. The answer is in the question.

Enough to blow out a candle at 10 ft when ejected from an orifice of 6mm in diameter...

Unless it is an orifice of the fundamental variety, in which case the resulting methane explosion will destroy the building, possessor of the orifice, and anyone else within a 6 x 10E2 M radius.

One cubic meter = 1,000 liters of air INSIDE the cylinder, regardless of temperature (above -273°C) or pressure.

Take your teacher an apple.

Dear Mr.Arham,

I think you intend to know HOW MUCH FREE AIR in the One Cubic Metre of COMPRESSED AIR 6bar Pressure. If so Pl. use the Equation p1 xv1/t1 = p2 x v2/T2,

If Boyle'Law is applied it will be p1 x v1 = p2 x v2 provided there is no Rise in Temp. during compression.

Are you using 'Gauge' pressure or 'Absolute' pressure?

If 'Absolute' the formula is given in post 6.

If 'Gauge' then you need to add the atmospheric pressure to it.

It is Absolute Pressure.

It's a trick question. There are 1000 liters in a cubic meter regardless of the pressure.
