Can you give the exact copper contained on this basis TOTAL WEIGHT = 5200 Kg KVA = 1600 Core & Winding = 2350 Kg

Yes. Exactly less than 2350 Kg (unless you have already removed it in which case it is no longer contained therein). The lack of information results in this exact answer not being very precise.

Wow... this more and more sounds like someone building a business case to go into the copper th*** business. Sounds like he has to decide if the reward is worth the risk.

  1. For exact, dismantle transformer and weigh copper.
  2. For less exact, ask the manufacturer.
  3. For approximate guidance, a design for 1000 kVA in a textbook I have lists 1650 kg core and 645 kg copper. Use the same proportions. Your "core and winding" weight will include the insulation.
