Control Valve

Dear All

I've power up the control vlv without connecting air supply, any such proble arise without air supply, coz would like to check the parameter of the control vlv IP using hart 475.

Can't supply any humor tonight, all laughed out, BUT ---->

It depends upon the type of valve you are using. Solenoid valves generally need a slight pressure on them to operate, no air no operate. Pilot operated valves require air to the pilot to operate the valve, no air no operate. If the valve is operated with an air cylinder independent of the air passing through the valve and the cylinder has a spring return on it, the valve will operate. Note that the air to the cylinder can not be the air that is passing through the valve, it must be an independent supply of air.

Otherwise the system will not operate.
