I tend to agree with S.E.--- these monoliths appear to be a creation of nature, even primitive people could have stepped off more accurate lengths. If you want to research lost technology look at the large precision machined blocks in S. America...I believe the site is Machu Pichu(sp)...stoneworkers of today say we couldn't replicate with our most modern equipment (laser, EDM, et.cet.) check that out and you will see why I agree the history we're taught, doesn't tell all,...not just possible, but most likely.

Reminds me of a show I saw on the History Channel's "America Unearthed", about the "Great Wall Of Texas".

My vote is they are largely natural formations that may have had a bit of basic human sculpting in a few area'sand specific instances but overall are just natural all be it large quirks of how nature likes to break minerals down into geometric shapes.

The whole thing was a Weta Workshop dress rehearsal for Minas Tirith.

Seatbelts? Did I just not notice originally, or is it the child safety seat that is throwing me off? I certainly don't remember seat belts. It's funny, both likely explanations (the seatbelts are newer than my most recent viewing, or alternately the memory has escaped without a trace) are an indicator of my age, but for different reasons.

I fear this is a natural phenomon. Google "Collingwood Scenic Caves" to find much the same thing right here in Canada. Ice can split big stones. And does. Cleavage planes exist in all rock.

How can you be sure what they claim are the 'biggest microchips' aren't really just the 'smallest megaliths'?

Cuz they're about the same size. That one they found in Siberia looks about right for one of their in-the-ear hearing aids.

Extralarge stone blocks may be required to make statues but how can they transport them to another location?. The solution may be they build temples in situ. inside an egyptian pyramid they have found a huge stone block,may be cut out of rock in situ as transport through narrow doors is impossible.

Far more likely they sited that large stone at what was to become 'inside' the pyramid, then the rest of the pyramid was subsequently built up around it.
