Floating vs Fix Grounding on UPS System

Dear

we have two difference UPS manufactured in our plant, there have difference grounding system one is floating and others using Fix grounding, could you please help me to give some explaination about this condition , which one better?

Floating ground means not grounded.

Does the ungrounded UPS have an isolated output or is one leg referenced to the UPS's chassis?

single or polyphase UPS?

My instinctive answer is it should be grounded but i have no idea what the application/environment is where your's are in service.
