can anybody advise me on the type of impellers for low shear pumps

I know nothing about pump design. You've asked for a very specific type of mechanical part in a specific type of machine that it makes me immediately wonder, why do you ask? The answer to this simple question should direct you to who you should be asking your question.

Don't use an impeller. Use a positive displacement pump, or VERY low speed centrifugal.

You might consider piston, diaphragm, or progressive cavity pumps. Discuss your fluid and operating conditions with one or more vendors who feature a range of pump designs, so that they can assist in selecting the best match.

GA. Industry-specific types are available for pumping stuff like strawberry jam and fish paste.

Lobe pumps and gear pumps are additional types for the original poster to continue researching.
