This in one for 'Jorrie' really.

Travelling to the past invokes the possibility of killing one's own grandparent, thereby preventing one's existence.

Traveling into the future is not a problem - we do it every second of our lives. In a way, it is even possible to travel into the future at a faster rate than usual. Just fly away from Earth in a spacecraft at very high speed and come back again. Judged by your own calendar, you would have 'jumped' way into the future of Earth.

Traveling into the past - very unlikely! It seems that the laws of physics prevent that, because as PWSlack pointed out, it can lead to bizarre situations.

Consider a glass of wine and Day Dreaming.
