Go check out www.superbrightleds.com for a wide variety of LED stuff.

Prices are affordable and they ship overseas, too.

Good luck with your project!

Look for Blue LEDs in the market. They are everywhere.

HI GUYS THANX A LOT FOR REPLYING .......... I'M REALY HAPPY TO SEE THE RESPONSE ........ AND ABOUT THE LUMINESCENCE ....... I DONT KNOW HOW TO QUANTIFY THEM .......... BASICALLY I NEED THE LED SO THAT I SHOULD BE BRIGHT ENOUGH AND BANDPASS SHOULD BE WITHIN 10nm .......... ITS BASICALLY FOR USING AS A SOURCE FOR DETECTING FLUORIDE CONTENT IN WATER ......... WE CAN ESTIMATE THE FLUORIDE CONTENT IN WATER FROM THE ABSORPTION OF THE LIGHT 425nm ( AFTER ADDING A COMPLEX TO THE SAMPLE WATER) ......... I HAVE TO DESIGN THIS INSTRUMENT SO THAT PEOPLE CAN USE IT ANYWHERE THEY WANT AND CAN FIND OUT WHETHER THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK OR NOT .......... NOW A DAYS MANY PEOPLE ARE AFFECTED BY MANY DISEASES BECAUSE OF DRINKING WATER WHICH IS RICH IN FLUORIDE..........

itsme321,

I did a google search and found this:

http://www.purdyelectronics.com/products/opto/default.cfm?gclid=CKX6sorPi40CFQqtOAodLGH6oA

http://www.marktechopto.com/Products/leds-drivers-displays-products-catalog.cfm?gclid=CKS7-LfPi40CFQZiOAodlnj3oA

http://www.besthongkong.com/

You may do the same, type led into google and on the right side you will find a list of commercial LED merchants.

Yours
