EAF Energy Input

06/26/2014 2:48 PM

For 1 MTPA steel plant of 145 Ton EAF uses 79.9 Ton of Hot Metal, 75.9 Ton DRI and 9.1 Ton of Scrap.

If energy required for melting @ EAF is 380 kWh/ton then what will be the energy in MVA required for melting steel at 1593 Deg. Cent. ?
