Aerial design, the elevation above sea level, the frequency and the transmitter power are important factors in the design of any radio station, Boss, as is staying undetected by the enemy.

First the type of service must be identified. If one does not know what is going to be transmitted then nothing can be done. Next the media (free space, copper wire, fiber optic, acoustic in air or water) must be identified. Then one should identify any authority (FCC, NEC) having jurisdiction over that media. Now an only now can any discussion about selecting a transmitter be started.

You should notice that you've not provided us any relevant information for us to discuss. This immediately makes me wonder if you would even understand a relevant discussion. Please, prove my initial impression wrong by filling in the blanks.

First thing that came to my mind was flow, level, and pressure transmitters. But the OP doesn't give us a clue whether he means process or radio.

The world may never know.

There are dozens of considerations as you can see from the numerous categories in the shots below from a pressure transmitter selection guide (partial list only).

You get to create your list for your homework. Flow, temperature, humidity, level will have some different categories because of the implementation of their specific technologies.

A 27 mHz transmitter might work for the application as described, your signal should be tree top tall and wall to wall. Just remember to keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up, that way we can catch you on the flip flop, 3's and 8's we gone now.

For classical music, FM; for talk radio, AM.

The usual suspects:

  • Resolution
  • Safety
    • Ignition
    • Pressure release
    • Oxygen Deficiency
  • Cost
  • Interface
    • RS232
    • RS422
    • 4-20mA
    • 0-20mA
    • WiFi
    • ModBus
    • TCPIP
  • Cost
  • Liability
  • Response time
  • Range of measurement
  • Cost
  • Range of transmission
  • Relative or absolute pressure measurement
  • Weather conditions and exposure
  • Fire
  • Cost
  • Liability

It is also critical to take into account your own capabilities to understand and communicate the task and hazards they contain. There seems to be a deficiency on this attribute. [This may be because English is not your native language. I hope this is the case.]

Did I mention your financial budget?
