definition of power good

07/01/2007 5:12 PM

I'm not an engineer, but I have to read engineering material. Can someone help me understand what is "power good"?

Thanks,

Lee

Translating technical terms is always difficult.

Some languages lack technical terms.

The intention of the writer need to be understood.

The words can be interpreted separately but the rest of the document usually provides some clues.

Power - may mean electricity, Pressure, force or even political dominance (actually excluded because it never is good)

Good - may mean sufficient, correct, available, sustainable, clean etc.

My guess would be that electricity of an acceptable voltage and frequency is available.

There is power in good words.

hmmm.... seek you must.... the dark side not.... power... good... no power... bad....

just kidding :-) Maybe if you could give us some context as to what engineering material you are reading, we could give a better reply.
