A small wire, a medium wire, or a big wire.

By knowing all [intended and unintended] conductors and insulators, then apply approved electrical engineering protocols.

Next on "How To Do It", we show how to play the flute.

De-energize all the devices! No current, no leakage.

Now, go get your flute and be ready for the next lesson.

Ground all lines with the use of these

Is this polyphase?

Simple checks/fixes for common-mode voltage:

Bonding

Reduce harmonics

Balance your loads

Check your X0's

Reduce branch lengths

Eliminate induced voltage

Edit: Shielding

"Suggest all possible ways, please"

Way #137: Bond Neutral to Ground at point of measurement, then take reading.

Effective method No 1: is to open the incoming breaker, lock it out and go home and put your feet up.

Effective Method No 2: disconnect all neutrals.

Effective Method No 3: See No 1 above.

These are all suggested possible ways and work on all systems.

What is your elevation above ground?

Are you in a balloon,a cell phone tower,a boat, a plane, a space station, a lunar lander,or a Mars explorer?

Will the measurement be taken during a solar eclipse,a lunar eclipse, or during a waning or waxing Gibbus?

During a Coronal Mass Ejection?

If so, of what magnitude is the ejection?( 100 to 800 picometre X-rays near Earth, as measured on the GOES spacecraft)?

At what frequency?

A good ground for 60 hz is not a good ground for RF, likewise for DC.

Are you speaking of an Earth Ground, or a circuit ground, possibly isolated from Earth Ground?

Or ground beef?

Or did you means grounds,as in coffee grounds?

If so, there are more possibilities.

To give all possible methods, I need all possible conditions.

I have listed only a few here, so get back with me when you have all the relevant information.

  1. Reduce the current in the neutral.
  2. Reduce the earth loop impedance.
  3. Disconnect supply power.
  4. Disconnect the neutral.
  5. Disconnect the ground.
  6. Some combination of any of the above.

Re: How to Reduce Ground to Neutral Voltage

The neutral and ground should be connected.

You can do this at the in coming terminal. If the utility company gives a 4 wire supply

one wire would be the neutral. You should make a good "ground" terminal and inter connect the neutral and ground.

This should be done at both ends, i.e. at the meter end and also at the machine terminals.

This also protects the equipment in case of a neutral wire break.

Bond the neutral and ground at the service and at the equipment?

Where do you think that will lead?

If that's not what you meant, you need to separate you sentences in your advice...a little disambiguation, though that looks like what you meant. Not safe.

I stand by what I wrote.

The neutral wire in case of a 4- wire supply system should be grounded.

This is best done with a "ground" at the input end of the supply.

At 'point of use' grounding the neutral would be a good precaution as this reduces the neutral to ground voltage.

Many electronic circuits have a capacitor between =ve. and neutral to reduce "noise"

a grounded neutral helps.
