Gearbox & Shaft Mounting Position

Dear all

Can any one provide some materials to understand gearbox & shaft mounting position,mounting surface shaft position, housing(universal/horizontal) etc. I was trying to read the name plate details of the sew gearbox (X4FR250/HU/T), which has double output shaft.I tried on internet but there is no clear materials available.thanks in advance.

First, you need to hone your search skills.

Read this: How to Search the Internet - Hannon Library

Then try a new search. Maybe "gear box mounting basics"?

You will get such as:

Gearbox Gearbox Mount Typical Gearbox Main Shaft Opti

These guys know!

There is manuals available for the gearboxes.

Its either:

Industrial gear units: X.. series helical-bevel gear units bucket elevator drives
or
Industrieal gear units Helical and Bevel-Helical X.. Series Gear Units Torque class from 6.8 kNm - 475 kNm
