	This about CR4 Good Answers, which I raised about a year back, and to-day's problem is similar to that. Whether my answer is Good Answer or not, I have the satisfaction of replying, some times I put the reply in the cr4 personal messaging. Many times I learn from this forum. CR4 members have sent thanks message through the Personal Messaging. My question is this. Last week I replied to a Posting and I found below my reply GOOD ANSWER(1) and at that time the Total Good Answers were 28 and I thought it will go up to 29. To my surprise it has reduced to 26 and next day 25. How it is happening.? DHAYANANDHAN.S

	No idea why your GA total went down - presumably someome marked some of your GAs on other threads as OT - but the reason your total didn't increase with your one GA is that you need to score at least 2 GAs on a post in order for it to become a "countable" good answer. __________________ "Love justice, you who rule the world" - Dante Alighieri

	Comments can be voted good answer or off topic at any time. So a GA rating is not permanent. It takes two good answer votes in order for your comment to be rated as a GA. If you have two good answer votes, but someone later marks your comment off topic, it will only have a score of 1 GA and therefore will be deducted from your good answer count.

	I've lost dozens of GA brownie points in the past to small people that abuse the goofball system of marking responses as off topic as a punitive tool. the system is flawed but my life is bigger than a website. I suggest you get over it
