I'd perform a product search, after I defined: "fast enough to finish a 210l drum oil"

Please specify the following:

1. Compressed air quality and pressure available for operating the pump.

2. Name of the 'fuel' to be pumped.

3. Min and max flow rate desired at which fuel needs to be filled.

4. The hose inside diameter and length through which filling will take place.

5. Internal diameter of outlet nozzle through which discharge will be obtained.

6. Inside diameter of the opening through which discharge will be filled.

7. Min and max quantity of fuel to be dispensed each time.

8. Number of such fillings to be conducted per shift.

9. Do you need the pump to be portable or stationary?

10. If stationary, how close to pump will the fuel drum be brought?

11. If portable, how close will the air supply for pump be from the supply drum?

Use a air-operated drum pump with a filter on the discharge connection. Since you did not state what the fuel is you will have to determine what type of pump and filter.

http://www.mcmaster.com/#pneumatic-drum-pumps/=ufff9s

McMaster- Carr--> examples for lube oil 42905K72 or 8243K31 For diesel, gasoline and flammable liquids 2824K39. Many other sources are available.

If these don't fit your use try a double diaphragm air powered pump such as made by Wilden or ARO. They are excellent and powerful for flammables if you get the right model.

For filters use the screw-on cartridge pleated paper type. These are what are used for automobile gasoline pumps, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel and many other uses. The model is up to you and they are available in 10 micron and smaller. Some are available with indicators. If not use a differential pressure gauge across the filter.

210 liter drum is equivalent to the standard 55 gal drum. Presumably you are using closed heads with 2" bungs and 3/4" vents.

Good Luck, Old Salt

i am completely agree with dheknesn (you have to mention all the points he arised .

in the sense to help you and make the things easier you can search for "compressed air operated diaphragm pump " OR pump with a pneumatic motor .

Lacking any other information, I will guess that the fuel is either gasoline, gasoline derived, or diesel. My personal experience has been very good with Aro air operated diaphragm pumps. They do make versions specifically for fuel dispensing. Aro is a division of Ingersoll-Rand.

With that specification, anything would do.
