What material is the tank made of? Does your weight include the water in the tank, or just the tank itself?

I'll bet there are a few vertical welds, too.

Bottom circle area = (pi)r2. Volume = (pi)r2t. Steel ~ 7850 kg/m3.
Wall area = 2(pi)rh; wall volume = 2(pi)rht.
Tank volume = (pi)r2h. Water weight = 1 tonne/m3.

All the rest is grade-school arithmetic.

You solve the problem. Read the site rules, we don't do homework here.

Another homework question?

Have you tried an internet search for your answer first?

What weighs 230 g/cu metre? Atmospheric air weighs ~ 1200 g/cu metre.

Don't weld after galvanising. Health hazards abound from breathing in zinc fumes!
