Swapping Supply Terminal Induction Motor

what happens when any two of the supply terminals are swapped in a 3-phase induction motor?can somebody explain in details to me?

Lets say you have three points on a circle. now you go from point A to B and then to C.

If you change point B with C and you follow the path ABC you go in the opposite direction. Right?

Now this is what happens!

The motor rotates in the opposite direction.

Asking others to carry out work for the purposes of passing an examination that they did not sit lies somewhere between 'irregular' and 'cheating', and is probably not far from 'outrageous cheek'.

One wonders about the quality of the relationship between the Student and the Tutor.

The answer you received is as such the nature of the way you ask the question. If I wanted to know how something worked such as you did I might state the question as such.

"I have a 3 phase motor and I do not understand the principals behind the effects of switching wires. We have reviewed this in class and I still am having trouble understanding. Could someone help me better understand why the motor rotates in a different direction. "

So next time rephrase the question and help maybe forth coming.
