Why Can't I Post Pictures?

This has been reported at least twice before and I went through the same process myself. In my case not using IE7 but Google Chrome instead, was the solution. But you are using Chrome - so now I'm totally confused. Dare I suggest trying Firefox?

I'm aware of some users having trouble posting pictures, but not problems seeing posted images.

I'll add this to the list of things I'd like to have fixed in 2015!

I have tried to post pics by using the green camera and browse. I have tried by copy and paste using my browsers "normal" menu, to no avail. Another new thing is that when I push the 'enter' key it comes up with an I.E. splash screen asking "Do you want to allow this webpage to access your clipboard?" I answer 'yes'.

But strangely I get a message at other times that I.E. has stopped working. I just click "end program" as I don't use I.E. Maybe I should seek to repair I.E. and see what happens then.

My pics are taken with Sony devices and downloaded to my pc and laptop via Sony Media Go.

For a long time now I have NOT been able to just select the emoticons here. I could right click and bypass custom menu and use my browsers normal menu to copy and paste the cr4 emoticon, like this;

well wad'ya know, it worked. Lets see if it stays once posted.

I can cut and paste, Window 7 IE 11, If I copy it from another site such as the pipe wrenches below from Ridgid site. But I can not do the same if it is a jpg bmp or other format for pictures. I also can not copy and paste from Word which I used to be able to for pictures.

As for your posting all my problems are identical to yours. Please hurry and find a solution. I was trying to post a picture but gave up after several hours with no success. PLEASE!

I had that problem with IE at home, I was using Firefox & the fix was to re-tell Windows that Firefox was my default browser. It already showed Firefox as default but I had to change that to IE then change again to Firefox.

Have you tried changing your socks?, could be some sort of conflict with the pants.

I could, posted twice. First time there was small square I let it be there and clicked again on browser and got it.

How to post pictures? I don't see a button that says images,,like on Craigslist.

I am using a tablet with Android. There is a message below screen that says, Formatting Tags: Images: Is this an algebra equation? Group the variables and terms ? Remove the brackets and simplify?

The CR4 text editor has a toolbar that displays in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer:

The green camera icon in the image above is what you click on to post pictures.

The toolbar not visible in some mobile devices, or on Safari or other browsers.

Just did this from Firefox using the green camera.

But i can't copy and paste. I get the usual bypass "custom" menu splash screen but i don't the "next right click will bring up your browsers normal menu" splash screen" But as you see that process works for emoticons. They also work the way they are supposed to; left click on tab then left click on image. Easy. When the browsers normal menu appears the paste function is enabled for emoticons but not for pictures. The Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, & Delete functions are all disabled. I will now make Firefox default browser and go to your site from the email as per normal and see what happens.

My workaround is to copy the link in your email and paste into Firefox. I couldn't make Firefox my default browser for email so this the best i can do.

Unfortunately, CR4 doesn't behave the same in all browsers. This is what I've observed:

Internet Explorer - most things should work, can resize and realign images after inserting them

Firefox - most things should work, can resize and realign images after inserting them

Chrome - most things work, can't change an image after inserting it

I'm not sure why you can't disable the right click menu, but you can use keyboard shortcuts to copy, paste, etc:

• CTRL+Z = undo
• CTRL+Y = redo
• CTRL+C = copy
• CTRL+X = cut
• CTRL+V = paste

It would be most helpful if CR4 had a convenient way to resize displayed discussions. Mine does wild things depending on who did what to the discussion. Now my text is so small that I am getting eye strain from attempting to read it.
