As in CO2 emmisions, or just a bunch of hot air that they are emitting.

Both!!

example - the paper to produce all the contracts would require a lot of trees and energy.

And the industrial inputs needed for Madonna's botox injections to keep her looking less than dessicated. Perhaps they should use Al Gore to make the paper, he has the personality of a hunk of wood.

Just viewed the film An Inconvienient Truth this weekend. This is a very compelling documentary. Worth a viewing even for the most jaded and cynical among you.

I rarely read the guide posts magazine that the Jehovah's witnesses bring around, nor do I read the Christian Science Monitor, or the Mormon stuff that finds it's way into my house. I refuse to read these items on the basis that it is religious propaganda. So why, would I watch Al Gores (Ahem) documentary. It is the same thing as religious propaganda. The only difference is that God is the environment. And, we sinners must repent by installing compact fluorescent bulbs, which do nothing to spare us from carbon emissions. Recycling which on the grand scheme only makes sense with Aluminum and Steel. Buy carbon credits, the modern version of the "indulgence," from Al Gores own organization (can we say conflict of interest). For Salvation, Hallelujah!!!!

However, if you want to read something, which actively engages the critical parts in the brain for thought formation. Dixie Lee Ray's Environmental Overkill; or Mark Guzo's Trashing The Planet, both are good choices. If you must Watch something, which doesn't actively stimulate the brain, Penn and Teller's Bullshit season one or two (not sure which) also has a very well put together investigation on the recycling scheme.

Answer this in your next post.

Earth is warming, and Mars is warming at the same time. There are no SUV's on Mars that we know of, so how is it that the Martian environment is warming up too?

If you can't answer it, be honest and admit that the "science of global warming" is sketchy at best. Therefore, to take actions with limited or compromised knowledge is folly.

If you were standing next to a murky lake and the "authorities" said, "jump in head first." I would hope that you would "question authority."

Nothing and even may be negative considering the power they used and the energy expended. I hope you didn't waste your time watching it?
