Off Topic Ratings

01/03/2015 10:57 AM

I have noticed a number of members complaining that their well thought out (if not brilliant) replies are being rated "Off Topic". Some of the more paranoid among us going so far as to think someone was out to get them.

A few moments ago I went to rate a reply as "Good Answer", and at the last moment realized that I had accidentally selected "Off Topic" for the simple reason that this was the choice at the top of the list. Perhaps this problem can be eliminated simply by reversing the order of the selections, placing "Good Answer" at the top.

Oh, the number of openings you have left this group is staggering.

Where to begin?

1. Start your selection process at the bottom of the list.

2. Look before you leap.

3. Always check your work.

4. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

5. Be glad you weren't shooting a gun.

I think it's fine the way it is.

Change=1

Leave it alone=1

How about an ability to retract a vote without changing it to its opposite?

How about a button to delete spam.

Maybe 5 "delete" votes get it zapped.

We don't need a button to delete the spam. We need a button to delete the spammer.

In light of the recent/current infestation of vermin, I agree.

Like I always say...

"you can't keep a good Fredski down."

Well, not always...

Ok, ok, so I never say that.

Personally if I get either rating I am thrilled being at minimal it at least shows someone actually read what I posted and bothered to think about it long enough to find it to be good or bad.

Don't bet on it.

Wonder how many times I can change my vote.

I'll keep score.

OT=1 2 3 4

GA=1 2 3 4

I'll leave it at GA, for no particular reason.

Go burn a tire to celebrate.
