I Get Enough Spam Already - Thank You

I think it is just proof that human intelligence is backsliding.

Did you read the one I refer to? That isn't a lack of intelligence. I went to college in the late 60's - I've seen this before - that person was flying on something. My first thought was a non-English speaking person, but there seemed to be sections that would only have been written by someone who spoke reasonably fluent English, when not buzzed.

But then again, I guess writing to a forum such as this in that condition may well speak of failing intelligence.

I consider anyone using these kinds of tactics as less than bright. It stinks!

Either they create a mish-mash of words to try to get the reader interested enough to bite, or the writer is simply unable to communicate due to poor skills.

The former just tells me that whatever the product is it does not sell on its own merit. So, gimmicks are employed to try to get more people to buy that product or service in an act of desperation.

In the latter case, the representative of the product is so out of his league as to be annoying. Any company that employs people of that caliber is probably something that I will want to steer away from.

Both behaviors are rude, not unlike the unwanted robo-calls on the phone or the senseless spam that rolls into our emails.

The root of the problem is that more people need to be intolerant of rude sales practices and not patronize sellers that act this way.

If enough people would shun these companies that rude behavior would change faster than soiled underwear.

My thought is that such messages are generated by a computer program (spam-bot) that produces random but grammatically reasonable phrases in an attempt to fool the more sophisticated spam detection programs. A few years ago, my old computer became infected by some Mall-ware that was sending similar e-mails to everyone on my contact list.

So we have a machine with programmed lowered intelligence. Fascinating.

We try to remove all spam as soon as possible! Use the Report button if it's been there for more than a few hours during regular business time.

My post was in reality a ploy to get someone else to read the post and "raz" these people, not remove the post. I've insulted quite enough folks for this year already, (they'll soon nickname me Don Rickles II) and I figured someone else could attack these jerks, as they certainly deserved it. But, thank you for the reply and for removing them.

It's really pointless to comment on the spam posts. In most cases, these users make the posts and do not return to the site, so they won't see your comments.

This is a job for Anonymous. Not me, the other Anonymous.
