Somebody is asking for the top speed (bolt) of a WWII era light armor tank, the M22 Locust. The entire marginal advantage of these little guys were that they small and light enough that they could fit in a glider. Light armor could now be deployed behind enemy lines. That is if a glider could locate a suitable landing site, at night, before loosing too much elevation.

If you prefer the mundane answer, this could be a fairly large metric bolt.

Maybe this is the fastest recorded speed found on a Michigan Highway?

Others have told you what it means. I'd just add that M22 is a non-preferred size. If possible I'd go for M24 x 3mm pitch.

But M22 has such picturesque views of Lake Michigan.

Yeah, but it's certainly preferred if you have a tapped m22 hole to go into

That's why I said if possible. There's a few reasons why it might not be possible in OP's case.

This is clearly only a partial quote. The complete quote would have been "Bolt in an M22". This is in reference to using the heavy duty 4 speed transmission GM used in some high performance Chevrolets. It had the same first gear ratio (2.20:1) as the standard M21 transmission, but had less of a helical cut to the gears, and was stronger and noisier.

The third member of the Muncie transmission trio was the M20. This was identical in appearances to the M22/21, but had a 2.52:1 first gear ratio. There may have been some 3.08:1 first gear versions of this design used in Pontiacs, but specifics are not available to me. I hope this clears this up. Bob.

An inmate escaped from an asylum, came across an unfortunate woman washing clothes by the riverside, and, having been celibate for ages, had his way with her and then ran off. Headlines in the local newspaper - "Nut screws washer and bolts". Covers a majority of the fastener spectrum.

Just adding another dimension to the disinformation seen so far
