What amazes me is that this is the first time a deep space probe actively changed where they were exploring. Real ion propulsion.

Talking about somebody got there first, wow!

I really like this ion propulsion thing, but they will need nuclear power to really kick that into high gear and maybe get a couple thousand times more thrust out of it. At least I think I would like to see that happen.
