All logic circuits can be built using either all NAND gates or NOR gates, so I guess that's your answer.

There are many types of logic gates e.g, bipolar IC logic gates, resistor-transistor logic,and transistor logic, and they form the main families of monolithic logic gates. a logic level is represented by a certain voltage. Each logic gate has equal importance in the field of electronics. Becoming "and" not "or" neither "nor" ;) I hope roselisa891 would quit messing her circuit, because, there's alot of guys down here who is capable of fixing and organizing the elements of circuitry. Redfred and James Stewart or "all i wanna be is a lumberjack" guy is probably the most potential ones. Lol

your question doesn't make sense to me,.. In my opinion, all logic gates are equally important, and the importance of each one depends on the requirements of the process/circuit carried out ..

Actually, it's Boolean math that is hard to master. Then there are Karnaugh maps and so on.

Thankfully, little processor boards are so cheap that you can simulate any logic function in software. That doesn't make the process trouble free because the programming language can be a bear to learn.

Someone proposed that engineers should be given credit for foreign language because of the programming languages they have to learn. It sounds silly until you have to learn them!

Hang in there! Everybody struggles with this topic. No single gate stands out.
