DIY Floppy Disk Planter

Floppy disk planters are a great way to use old floppy disks that you may have lying around.  They are made simply from floppies glued together to form a cube and adding a liner on the inside.

What difference would it make if the data is still good or not.

No one still has the hardware to read them anymore.

It's one of those common-knowledge things, like how playing classical music makes plants grow better. If a plant is reassured that there are no bad sectors in it's planter, it thrives.

So...if you splash water around when watering the plants, I assume the diskettes will grow all the way up to 8" floppys? And the file sizes will also expand?

It will only grow until it blooms. These usally take the form of punch cards.
