NASA Tests Mars-type Rovers in Arizona Desert

It may not have all the creature comforts, but Aaron Hulse considers his space exploration rover a pleasant home away from home. That is crucial as he and other NASA experts spend days together in the Arizona desert, simulating the arid surface of some distant planet or asteroid -- complete with a dormant volcano.

Next thing you know the drug smugglers will steal it, take it across the border, fill it full of dope and use it to smuggle it back over the border again. Oh, and they'll shoot all the NASA people and leave the bodies in the desert too....
