Silent Santa

Posted November 24, 2010 7:30 AM

Ok, time for some holiday fun. Assuming Santa is real and he really does travel the entire globe in one night, what the heck kind of propulsion is this guy using and why is it so quiet? While I do have to believe in Santa for this exercise, I don't believe in flying reindeer, so they're out.

The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Shock, Vibration & Noise, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Shock, Vibration & Noise today.

It would have to be in the lines of time travel or electro magnetic energy. Time travel would make more sense because the speed he would have to move to get all that done in one night would exert such a g force his head would fly right off his body on take offs and stops.

Beans. Santa hopped on the green bandwagon, and fuels his flight with "all natural bio-methane". Silent but deadly.

But the green suit makes him look like a flying jalapeno.

WHAT??? No flying Reindeer? How silly can you be! Of COURSE Santa gets about with flying reindeer- but Rudolf has been replaced by a younger leader who uses battery-powered LED's instead of a naturally glowing nose...Progress, you know...

Santa reaches out and folds the space time continuum together and steps through a small hole he punches with a small pocket knife, making his propulsion method, "self"

I personally think his propulsion system is a brown truck with "UPS" written on the side.
