Yep. The performance of the machine is now limited by the durability of the tyres and brakes. Totally useless, in other words.

The rider can only just reach the handlebars. It would be good to know what the achievable turning circle is....

At one of the first jobs I had when I got out of college back in the mid 90's there was a guy who built custom drag bikes in his spare time that used hot rodded 350 Chevy V8's that where well past the 400 Hp level.

As I understood it they were basically straight line drag rockets. The torque steer was terrible and they where for the most part unstreetable to ride. Still rich dummies with far more testosterone than brains bought them and tried to ride them anyway.

I see that tradition/mentality still lives on!

I saw E.J.Potter, "The Michigan Madman" run his 350 Chevy powered drag bike at a local strip. He would hold on to his girlfriend's car to get it started and his crew would grab the bike and lift it onto the built-in center stand (no clutch). He would slowly emerge from a cloud of smoke, struggling to get it pointed down the strip. I knew something had gone wrong when, in his last run, he suddenly sat up at the end and jumped off at about 70mph. He survived with road rash, and when they retrieved the bike from the woods at the end of the strip, the frame was wrapped around the block. I read later that when they dismantled the engine, they found leaves and weeds in the cylinders. Potter said he had "problems with shutting down".

Not much different than this....V10 Viper Bike - all a waste of time and money...but

it would be fun to try just once!

That's the wildest thing I've ever seen.

All for show and nothing more. That thing appears to be belt driven. Any purpose intended motorcycle drive belt would snap under all that torque.

He must be dyslexic and be remembering an old item from popular mechanics,late 1970's, i think. A vehicle, i believe, called the "tri-magnum". They sold plans for it.

But you took the motorcycle's front forks off, and mounted the rest of the bike to a volkswagon front end, and built a fiberglass shell around it, and came up with the 3 wheeler thing, one wheel in back, currently on the market, minus the outer shell.

I knew a guy that used an Oldsmobile Toranado front wheel drive package with a motorcycle front end. he took the rear body of the Toranado and covered the engine with it, keeping the rear seat.

He was always asking for "bailing wire". We were afraid to ride with him...
