Israeli Fighter Shoots Down Suspicious Unidentified Flying Object

Could be a surveillance device or a weapon, but a weapon of that size is useless against a reactor vessel. You might do some small damage to one of the support buildings.

My best guess is than it was an intelligence gathering device. Maybe it was some kid's idea of fun, however, that area is very sparse (see map) and a remote piloted system's control radio link range is probably limited. So, I doubt some neighbor kid is just having fun.

My best guess is that it was a primitive surveillance device. We probably will never find out what the payload really was.

My interpretation is that it falls under the Fair-Use clause.
