With Fujitsu's new wireless 22-inch PC monitor, we're another step closer to severing the cables from our computers. Graphics cards have already made the jump to wireless, so why not computer monitors?

So, the idea is that the position of the monitor is pretty solidly fixed, since it will have to be fairly close to the inductive coupler built into the furniture, which still has to be plugged in somewhere...Meanwhile, you can set your computer up to 32 feet away...

What am I missing here? Why doesn't this make any sense to me?

so why not computer monitors?.
Because I have yet to find anything wireless that operates reliably
...(no, actually the Sun does pretty well).
Only last week my wireless keyboard stopped working, I went through the rigmarole of changing batteries and generally messing about. After a while I simply threw it in the factory skip and found an old keyboard in the junk corner. Since then its wonked profictly.

True multi-tasking!

Now you can wirelessly run your monitor plus you can do induction cooking right at your desk.
