One that would mute the wife and kids for 1 hour a day.

I want a working sonic screwdriver for a remote. I'll keep it safe until the Doctor needs it again.

Do you go back to the Tom Baker days? I recently revisited that era and looked at the season long story of "The Keys to Time." Of the "revived" series, I have liked Christopher Eccleston best. But even still, I like Tom Baker best overall.

Yeah, I'm old enough that I watched Tom Baker as the Doctor. He's still the face that comes to my mind when I think of the Doctor. I haven't seen any of those episodes lately. I expect that I'd still enjoy the writing and performance but be stunned by the early sets and costumes.

I agree that Christopher Eccleston did a superb job reviving the series. David Tennant was also quite good but there's always a readjustment with each transformation of the Doctor. If you miss the transition episodes there can be difficulty adjusting to the new persona. That's the position I'm in with Matt Smith now. My cable provider finally started to provide BBCA after Matt was well established.

Great! Yes, there is a shock when going back to technological sets of that many years ago. But I found that the story line and script writing to still hold their own all these years later. Since the show revolves around the Doctor's persona I still have my predilection to the Tom Baker years. Too much special effects capabilities can lead to the rest of the show relying on that to make it appealing to current audiences. I can still enjoy the Tom Baker series without all the sophisticated adornments.

I only watched a handful of the David Tennant tenure and none of Matt Smith's.

As corny as it was, K-9 was a great addition to the earlier series.

(BTW, I enjoyed the first revival season enough that I ended up buying that whole season set with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. Billie Piper was a good assistant, too.)

Ordinary digital cameras don't have it and it should: i could stay far enough and shoot when a bird or other animal steps by it.-

I want a thought processed remote where I can control my entire environment around me by my thoughts only to control my entire environment. Got one on the shelf?
