The use of DVR's will be changing commercials. I have only seen a few commercials the last several years.

Even when I watch sports I do it delayed. For example if I plan on watching a football game if you start with 1 hour recorded you can skip through all commercials and halftime. At the end of the game you are pretty much watching live or just started watching live.

Maybe I am in the minority in only watching recorded shows. Does anyone else do this as well?

I join in.

Hard disk TV recorders are the invention/innovation of the last decade

Activity is ongoing to find a solution for it as the whole tv scenery is paid through the commercials.
