those things are a good idea.. but will be like used condoms when down on earth... and the gas expands when at 100,000 feet. If they filled them on earth, they would burst as they rise, due to the changing pressure difference.

Maybe some clever person could come up with a device to protect from the over pressure condition about which you warn...and thereby return this idea to viability.
