Up for bid today on Ebay another "anti-peta" vehicle by famous artist Unibomba....Called the "Flying Critters of Death" ....Uni claims every animal mounted on this truck was killed on his trips to the vet to get treatments for his sick crocodile "Choppers", who has since sadly passed and is now a motorcycle.....(see pic)

To practice taxidermy, one should be very familiar with anatomy, sculpture, and painting, tanning as well as auto body work.

Me thinks it's kind of interesting that how many vehicles have been marketed with the names of animals. The Japapanese cars were named after flowers and plants when they first stated to market their cars in the late '50's/early '60's.

Good ones - as I forgot about the Mitsubishi built "Cricket" sold as a Plymouth, along with it's cousin, the Dodge 'Colt', in the mid to the late ''70's in N.A.

A play on words - the Citroen S-Cargo micro-minivan renamed the 'Escargot' is funny.

And the Leyland 'Roadrunner' is not anything like the Plymouth 'Road Runner' of the late '60's/early'70's as well. - Beep Beep!

Loupy.

In 70's UK, we had Hillman (Later Chrysler, then Talbot) Avenger, sold in US as Plymouth Cricket.

The 2CV was 'affectionately' called the "tin snail", as it had a 2-cylinder engine from just 375cc. Not at all fast, but production lasted from 1949 through to 1990 - in all its guises, over seven million were produced.
