I can see it happening, especially with the high price of benefits and pensions of public sector employees such as State Troopers and police used for traffic.

Look at Illinois, with the cameras they are using, in part to counter the cost that are bankrupting that state.

I drove through Denver unmanned toll way, and then receive an invoice from them a few weeks later for the use of their toll road.......

I am absolutely certain in today's world that if data becomes available, of whatever sort, someone will find a way to use it that is, if not nefarious, at least annoying.

Governments will ALWAYS find nefarious ways to "spy" on their subjects...that's *how* they stay in power.
