Recent improvements in creating artificial blood for transfusions may lead to a readily available blood supply manufactured in large laboratories or factories that's safer and cheaper than donations from humans.

Blood contains different kinds of cells,chemicals and fluids in different proportions.If someone could achieve conversion of stem cells into all these products in right proportion, it would be one of the greatest achievement of mankind.

This would be a nice achievement but what about the implications with the body accepting it. This is against the natural world and since this is ruled by the FDA will lead to some testing. Product payments will occur but will just be a form of bribery to get the item to "pass". Look at all the drugs in the USA that have lead to early deaths.

The current process that the Wellcome Trust researchers are using to create the artifical blood is not replicable on an industrial scale

Not as good yet then as it first appeared.
