A New App Will Let You Send Anonymous E-mail to Anyone

A perfect match to my app (Gmail) which relegates anonymous emails to the Spam folder.

And what's the point of that?

Camouflage for Keyboard Kommandos most likely. And spammers.

And now we have Leak, the site that encourages you to "just say it" - regardless of whether "it" is uplifting, confessional, shocking, rude, reckless, banned by conventional social norms … or something else entirely..

The evil will outnumber the good by somewhere between 10:1 and 100:1, I guess. This will cater to the anonymous fools/liars/cowards that inhabit most religion and politics forums.

What I consistently saw in my two years on Google+ (which, like most other major social networks, does not support anonymous postings) were the inevitable anti-god/anti-religion types wading in to enlighten all with their special brand of sunshine, especially on science-related threads. A sort of parallel to Godwin's Law, in effect, but one having to do with god/religion. It was they - not the pro-god/pro-religion types - who inevitably spoiled it for everyone else. Their appearance nearly always heralded the death of the thread no matter how excellent it had been prior. This happened often enough that I finally got sick of it; sick of the same, tired, pseudo-intellectual hate-speech, ad-hominem attacks and broad generalizations over and over, and I deleted my account, never to return. I didn't need it there and I don't need it here.

Yet another way to waste the bandwidth of the internet. It would be really fast if all the spam, phishing, ads etc., annon messages etc weren't there! Junk mail folders will just get bigger.
