The Age of Single-chip Radar

With advances in CMOS process technology and RF integration, semiconductor manufacturers have successfully developed and commercialized single-chip radar for a variety of applications, including automotive. Now with prices falling and easy availability, integrated radar is finding use in many more applications.

I can see a lot of nice applications. My favorite would be a car display that shows a plan view of the car and surrounding vehicles and obstacles, so that with a single glance you could see if there was anything hidden in blind spots. It seems to me that modern cars with increased body supports and head restraints have achieved more crash safety at the expense of driver vision.

I am wondering that if every vehicle had multiple radars, what would be the interaction with other nearby vehicle radars?
