The "Give Cyclists Space" sign placed blocking the lane SYMBOLIZES the metamorphosis of socialism into fascism.

The cars in the picture are very likely the ones paying the petro tax dollars which fund the road. Socialists might celebrate such a thought. There are no visible bicycle riders. This might be circumstantial.

The sign blocks the bike lane to an extent that might endanger a cyclist. Clearly, the sign deployers did not ride a bike or even entertain a thought of someone safely riding a bike in the lane or the sign would not be where it is. Fascists might celebrate such a thought. Not only have they demonstrated their dominance, they have also indicated that they needed no practical, or public safety justification for their act.

The National Socialist Party of WWII was a global demonstration of this same metamorphosis. Those pressing for a Global Government might propose a
socialist model. They should be constantly reminded that these two examples palpably demonstrate the tendency of socialism to decay into fascism. Fine grained diversity both geographically and temporally is a hallmark of a healthy ecosystem, even when discussing possible government ecosystems. Mono-culture government is at least as maladaptive as mono-culture agriculture.

Kudos to both of the posters for reminding us that
the cost of freedom is eternal vigilance.
