This week's building submission is courtesy of SolarEagle.

Care to take a guess at what building it is?

Interesting.

....The roof form creates a cavernous interior inspired by the work of Spanish architect Gaudí, and described by the architects as a "Gaudiesque contemporary cave".

Architect critic notes "The roof embodies symbolism of fierce Tricloptic pride. 'Three eyes, inquisitive and wise above two eyes, suspicious and devious. The roof depicts how well society can function when everyone is in the proper heirarchy."

The money they saved buying that lot was certainly spent on the house....but the view is 'to die for'....Still I'd be worried about somebody stumbling while walking on the top of that mountain, and dislodging a boulder....

It looks like this structure rests on the back fill of a ravine. There must not be many earthquakes or tremors there.

I didn't notice any type of fire suppression system. Can you imagine the ecological disaster if that place caught on fire from the burning fibre (fiber) glass and polyester resin furniture and the runoff flowing down the cliff out into the open sea ?

Labour intensive. ( otherwise known as cheap labor ) universally used labor where the worker exists on a meager living, ( rice and beans diet ) while the contractor and developer ( steak and lobster diet ) gets the lions share .

Hirearchy : see definition for caste system. Casta in Spanish. Basque country. Subliminal understanding, until one breaks down the words and phrases used within the text.
