Ice scoop. The ice machine is just outside the door.

And for the ice-ing on the cake: This is at a wastewater plant.

I'll have to take your word for it. Even after enlarging, and supposedly knowing what it is, I don't get an image of anything resembling any ice scoop I've ever seen.

It's a good thing it's propped open. Users of the ice machine might need to get in there in a hurry!

Nope! Begs the question: How many times did the cleaning staff do that and just put the scoop back on top of the ice machine?

Thank God I drink coffee in the morning, bottled water through the day (at work), and beer at night!

Known internally as "the super duper pooper scooper".

Dilbert Helminth

Dilbert Helminth(CR4 challenge: a coat-of-arms with helminths belongs above), the recently appointed cost-cutter accountant manager thought his cube-at-a-time strategy would reduce energy consumption so he replaced the big scoop with an inverted hollow plastic doorstop he spotted nearby. Voila, a zero-cost scoop for a single cube went in the ice machine.

After visiting the bathroom facility the next day his super sharp senses enabled him to realize that the door vent was inadequate.

The obvious zero-cost replacement for the doorstop was...
the original ice scoop he had stuck in his desk drawer the day before.

Contest Rules

To be totally explicit, the challenge is to tell the Dilbert Helminth story in a Midieval picture-sign coat-of-arms without words except for his name. The best coat-of-arms showing the vector of helminths from doorstop to employee drinks and ending with Dilbert in the stocks would likely get a GA or several. Be creative, all you graphic Spongebobs, not yellow and Squidward grumpy. If you off-topic me, at least do a Squarepants picture-sign coat-of-arms or one for thewildotter with pre-emptive off-topic indication. Have a good time !

Dennis,

Now that we know the Dilbert-driven explanation of the funny thing in the ice machine, we also know how kilowatt0 came upon the picture. He was probably called upon to evaluate the wisdom of the strategies innovated by the newly-minted energy savings manager.

To be honest, I don't who Dilbert Helminth is. The only Dilbert I know is that comic-strip character. But, I wouldn't put it past him to come up with such shenanigans.

Dennis,

I made up the name from the comic strip clueless manager character as a first name. The last name is a class of organisms commonly infecting people exposed to sewage. That name fit the actions in my shaggy dog story about the picture.

Now you know.

There's a pink colored ice scoop propping open the women's restroom, and a multicolored ice scoop for the solo/unisex/family restroom door.

At this point I think it's safe to say that finding an ice scoop used as a doorstop is not a joking matter.

Oh, I dunno. It could have been a scoop of any kind. Maybe it really was one of those Super Duper Pooper Scoopers. But, then again, that's not funny either.

Nasty, nasty, nasty!!!! I can't imagine anyone really enjoying ice provided from an ice-maker located at a wastewater plant--let alone right outside the men's room! Keeping the John door open must really top things off--then, again--whose going to want to use an ice scoop that's often found on the bathroom floor--just plain nasty!

We have an "Open door Policy" about using the ice machine scooper. Oh, and a free case of E-coli with every scoop!

MMMMMM.... So pretty and yummy!
