"Pedestrian" Grazed in BrickFord Investigations SDRIV Self-Driving Incident

BrickFord's new robotic investigations division suffers an early setback in their Self-Driving Robotic [accident] Investigator Van or SDRIV program. Upon reviewing the video, the pedestrian, who was not completely avoided in the incident, turned out to be a pigeon. The ruffled "pedestrian" who had flown from the scene in terror was unavailable for comment, but his lawyer who will also be representing the property owner said, "More feathers will fly when we see your dumb S driver code simulator in court !"

BrickFord Investigations History(only partly Fictitious)

BrickFord Investigations is a Private Investigations firm created originally to investigate non-payment of the actor portraying Jim Rockford of The Rockford Files TV series. The Rockford Files production manager had accused the actor of being a "GoldBricking SOB." The actor who had invested many seasons of effort for a percentage of the profit had been scammed out of many millions for the very popular TV series by creative accounting. The actor, while unsuccessful against the big buck lawyers of the production company, recognized the income potential of a real PI firm and so continued the firm named for his alleged laziness. Jim Rockford was no goldbrick, and his BrickFord PI Firm remains on the bleeding edge of the Investigations business still today.

The automatic park feature on the new self driving police van had issues.

"The dispatcher said to "Hit the bricks". So I did" the AI was heard to mumble during the inquiry.
