Outrageously Cool Custom Cars

Posted September 19, 2007 4:35 PM

From CNNMoney.com:

These high-powered sculptures are hand-built from the ground up by small-volume manufacturers for drivers who crave extreme performance, unique design and detailed workmanship. Horacio Pagani, a designer and composite expert, has devoted the past 15 years to building the Zonda, a supercar that is a carbon-fiber and aluminum homage to the late, great five-time Formula 1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio. Build your own. Here's mine. OK OK it's not a supercar, but it is fun to drive. Some engineering... and lots of trial and error to build.

Looks like a fun car building it (maybe not at the time of building it) as well as driving.

(I'm not much of a country buff, but did'nt Johnny Cash write a song about projects like this)

Wow that thing is cool. It's probably quick too at 1900lbs. I've been thinking about building a FFR Cobra build but can't afford to give up my garage space. Were would I put my current toys?
