Posted December 21, 2007 8:46 AM

From Yahoo! News: Science News:

With a 6-month-old at the controls, researchers at the University of Delaware are encouraging underage driving. Their ultimate goal is to help immobile, disabled children move and explore. The researchers are using robotics in an odd contraption that's sort of a cross between a bumper car and a robot. First cometh the Taxman, a'knockin' at the door, as always in for a "free to him" share, who will tax the vehicles, and the power the vehicles require, in order to actually work.

Next thing the Authorities are going to do, is charge the users, young and old a fee to sit their licence to drive one of those vehicles.

Then there will be the cost of parking tickets.

And don't forget the twice each year "Warrants of Fitness", to ensure safety.

The list expands rapidly, after that.

Nevertheless, a fine idea, and trust these may be used to assist the less fortunate.....
