Pressure pushing MEMS

At the IEEE MEMS conference in Tucson the week of January 14th, I had a chance to sit down with Freescale for their perspectives on where the MEMS sensor markets are headed. Dave Monk represented the automotive side, and Ken Lemk represented the consumer and industrial side of the business.

This is an interesting statement.. what legislation has provoked this?...and if this can be legislated for... why not more efficient engines...sensible vehicles ..say minimum with in passenger vehicles..?

I was driving home tonight (in UK) and heard on the radio an obnoxious ad' trying to pursuade under-endowed imbeciles to buy the Hummer (now available in the UK)...just what we don't need on our narrow roads..or in Harlow at 5pm....
