Posted February 26, 2008 8:25 AM

U.S. wind power developments are on the rise and all the ripple effects are beneficial in terms of energy security, environmental protection, and economic stimulus for manufacturing. The latter in some way heralds a rejuvenation for economically-impacted automotive and steel plants, which can now turn to the task of producing custom gears, gearboxes, and other components for wind turbines.
