Could Stimulus Boost Business

The economic stimulus package recently passed by the U.S. government could do more than get you a personal tax rebate. It might also help you to get that MRO upgrade approved. The National Association of Manufacturer's (NAM) says the program includes increased deductions for companies looking to purchase capital equipment. It also provides for accelerated depreciation, allowing manufacturers to take up to a 50% tax write off for new equipment in the first year. Could the stimulus plan provide a needed boost to industry as well?
