How Do You Make a Green Infrastructure?

Posted June 02, 2008 8:29 AM

Reducing carbon emissions and dependence on petroleum-based energy have become high-priority goals for companies. The expansion of biofuels, recycling, and high-efficiency photovoltaics promises that the number of possible solutions will expand rapidly in coming years. How does your company plan to participate in this effort? What are you doing to increase your output per unit energy? To reduce your carbon footprint? Use of toxic chemicals and other pollutants? Does your new-product planning consider these issues before making final design decisions?

The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Semiconductor Fabrication, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Semiconductor Fabrication today.

What company in particular are you talking about? There are not too many companies that will tell you much about their efforts in becoming "green", because this kind of information will give an advantage to their competitors. And why is this discussion posted in the Semiconductor Fabrication Discussion section?

With regards to your questions, I find it very exhausting to list all of the possible ways in being more environmentally friendly. Is this some kind of research paper you are working on? If so, then you probably need to look for the answer in other discussions. Good luck..Sorry not much help but at least it will put you on the right track.

My company, Angstrom Microsystems, makes computers that reduce energy usage in the data center though the use of liquid cooling, power efficiency and software acceleration technologies. Using our hardware, our customers can reduce their power usage by up to 55%. By using our acceleration software, our customers can reduce their cluster size by 10-100x for apps like FFTW and Atlas Blas.

Install larger power lines than the code requires will keep machine and equipment from being starved for power and overheating.

Gosh! good question, but let's see from back off my head I will assume it we'll better start from reciclying everything possible and extract the main components from old debris and made out something good out of it. Now, from the perspective and technically speaking for real I will build up or design like a huge distiller plant which are able to chemically process all those recicly components into something useful like nafta-kerosene-gasoline-diesel-oil-etc-etc. you may imagine the rest. I will also start by cautionly start mixing few differents components to see which of them react properly. Until I come out with some kind of specialty solution that we all may be get the rid of the petroleum use evebtually for ever. This will be the fuel of the moment then, imagine that for a second or two. Smart ahhh!?... Anyway as I telling you I know there are a whole bunch of chemicals production that if well combine by chemicals engineers we'll be on good path to discover the next level revolotionary Fuel-Gas for generations to come. And absolutly this will require a new training at majors levels for any one looking to operate the new combustible for the next generation near soon. Imagine that? Zero Petroleum Uses no good anymore for nothing, bye bye 4 Ever.

So let go for it time is good for that endevior, why wait until the finishing their job in stopping this great nation progress any further? no, we are going to come out with some super special remanufactured reciclying system that we;ll be laugthing of any other petroleum uses any where for any reason, no joke we have the technology to do it and we will, I'll Bet on That, Buddies you are real good all and you are the mans of the momentum in this century my man's, go for it withou fear now. Stay in top of such re-cicling combustion spectrum and you all will become the superheroes of the century for sure.

I thinking of this industrial processing plant as something inmense which we'll be able to regenerate an incredible amount of combustibles that petroleums companies will become little kids stuff compare to us eventually, you see, I don't Joking. We'll getting there one way or the other. Then we are the ones that are going to laugthin to deah from all this past haszles. Hang in there and see what is going to happen in a little while. This is if all the things fall in place as calculated here, I don't Know Myself Yet. We have to come out with something nicer very soon I believe, my friends, you have the Technology!

Ok Pizza Time NOw!
