New Products Bring Side Effect: Nanophobia

Posted December 08, 2008 9:19 AM

From NYT > Science:

It sounds like a plot straight out of a science-fiction novel by Michael Crichton. Toiletry companies formulate new cutting-edge creams and lotions that contain tiny components designed to work more effectively. Yes.

You think ordinary garbage was a major problem?

It is already a case of "Welcome to Nano-Particle Hell" for many of the population of this Planet Earth.

Sadly, these nano-particles are so small, that they are effectively unable to be destroyed.

Thus the toxicity of the nano-rubbish is going to build up everywhere, and no way of cleaning it up, either.

Kind Regards....
