HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all CR4'ers !

Currently in Ireland where we have an International Dark Sky Reserve in Kerry:

Great views when there's no clouds. Unfortunately it's the cloudiest place I've ever lived in!

Was just dozing off and got a call from the plant. Didn't have to go in, but couldn't go back to sleep right away. It's OK though, I have today off.

I've been to Ireland a few times; love the Kerry region, esp the Dingle Peninsula. Scattered my late wife's ashes there.

Hope to get back there again someday. And I'll have to check out that Dark Sky site.

My folks used to have a record of 'Christmas in Killarney'. I got sick of it; my sisters wore out the grooves!

If you look at the site you will see Julie Ormonde mentioned several times, who happens to be the wife of our electrician Dennis. We just saw her an hour ago when we dropped them a Christmas card and gifts to their house. She gave us copies of the 2 books she wrote and which are shown on the site.
